春花秋月何時(shí)了？
往事知多少。
小樓昨夜又東風(fēng)，
故國不堪回首月明中。
雕欄玉砌應(yīng)猶在，
只是朱顏改。
問君能有幾多愁？
恰似一江春水向東流。

李煜（937－978），籍貫徐州彭城縣（今江蘇省徐州市），生于江寧府（今江蘇省南京市），字重光，號(hào)鐘山隱士，南唐末代君主、詩人。
LI Yu (937-978), styled Recovery, Zhongshan Hermit by literary name, a native of Pengcheng County, Xuzhou (in present-day Xuzhou, Jiangsu Province), born in Jiangning (present-day Nanjing, Jiangsu Province). He was the last monarch of the Southern Tang dynasty as well as a poet. (劉麗譯)

East wind blew again to the tower last night;
I can’t bear to glance back at my land in moonshine so bright.
Carved railings and jade steps should be still there;
Changed are only the ladies fair.
I’d ask you: how many inches of woe?
Just like a river of spring water that does down east flow.
