隨著農(nóng)歷新年的臨近，城市綠洲學(xué)校的學(xué)生們都在創(chuàng)作與農(nóng)歷新年相關(guān)的美術(shù)作品。孩子們都很享受創(chuàng)作的過程并且其中許多人做得很好。在美術(shù)組，我們喜歡準(zhǔn)備一些與我們的日常生活相關(guān)的課程，正如我們在圣誕節(jié)所做的一樣。我們希望我們能在重要的日子給予每個孩子更強(qiáng)的參與感。例如，教他們?yōu)榱斯?jié)日去制作一些藝術(shù)作品。這會是一個好的開始讓孩子們理解和感受到藝術(shù)是非常貼近我們的日常生活的，亦或是我們的生活本來就離不開藝術(shù)。

As the holiday approaches, the GOS students are all making an art project to relate to the Chinese New Year. Children are really enjoying it and many of them did a great job. In the Art Department, we like to prepare some lessons that are related to our daily lives, just like we did at Christmas. We hope we give every child a greater sense of participation on important days. For example, teaching them to make some art works for the holiday. This could be a good start to let the children understand and to feel that art is just close to our daily lives, and our lives cannot leave without art.

圣誕節(jié)假期過后，校園里的鈴聲已更改為農(nóng)歷新年歌曲的風(fēng)格。另外，在美術(shù)課上，我們也開始做一些與農(nóng)歷新年有關(guān)的作品。這些都能使孩子們感受到非常濃厚的農(nóng)歷新年氣氛。這也使孩子明白農(nóng)歷新年對于我們來說是非常重要的。

After the Christmas holiday, the school bells have changed to the style of the Chinese New Year’s songs. Similarly, in the art class, we are beginning to do some works relate to our Chinese New Year. All of that could make the children feel the atmosphere of the Chinese New Year. And it makes them understand the Chinese new year is very important to us.

二年級，我們花了三堂課的時間來制作小牛燈籠。我們首先向同學(xué)們介紹了什么是生肖，并教會孩子們?nèi)绾沃鸩街谱餍∨艋\。學(xué)生可以創(chuàng)作自己認(rèn)為獨(dú)特的小牛燈籠，他們也可以設(shè)計不同類型的眼睛在小牛燈籠臉上。例如，有小朋友在小牛眼睛上畫上了眼鏡，看著很可愛，也很有創(chuàng)意。我們很高興孩子們可以發(fā)揮更大的創(chuàng)造力，因為在藝術(shù)領(lǐng)域，不是僅僅只有一個正確答案的。因此，我們尊重孩子們的想法，讓他們充分發(fā)揮他們的想象力。

At Year 2, we spend three lessons to make the ox lantern. We introduced the Chinese zodiac to the students and taught them how to make the ox lanterns step by step. The students can make their own unique ox, and they can also design the different types of the eyes on its face. For example, someone draws the glasses on the eyes, that is so cute and creative. We are very glad if children can be more creative because in the art, we do not just have only one correct answer. Thus, we respect children’s ideas and let them give full scope to the imagination.

讓我們看一看一年級孩子們的作品，他們做小魚吊飾，因為魚對于農(nóng)歷新年來說是有著很好的寓意的。小朋友們甚至嘗試在卡片上寫下農(nóng)歷新年的祝福語，貼在小魚的底部，以此來傳遞出給每個人的新年祝福。

Let’s look at the Year 1 children’s work. They have made the fish, because fish have a good meaning at the Chinese New Year. They even tried to write the Chinese new year’s words on the card to stick on the bottom of the fish to give everyone best wishes at the New Year.

正如我們在照片上所展示的那樣，所有孩子都為農(nóng)歷新年創(chuàng)作出了驚艷的美術(shù)作品。我們真的為他們感到自豪，并在這里一起預(yù)祝大家春節(jié)快樂！

All of the children made fantastic art work for the Chinese New Year, as you can see in the photos. We are really proud of them and wish everyone has a happy Chinese New Year!
