在過去的一個(gè)月里，我們的第一屆寄宿學(xué)生已經(jīng)逐漸適應(yīng)了廣州諾校的寄宿生活。我們的生活老師給孩子們安排了一系列的指導(dǎo)課堂，幫助孩子們提升自己的生活技能和自我管理能力。

生活老師為1-3年級(jí)的同學(xué)提供生活技能的培訓(xùn)，包括如何洗衣服和疊衣服，內(nèi)務(wù)整理指導(dǎo)和實(shí)操訓(xùn)練。針對(duì)4-8年級(jí)的學(xué)生，生活老師組織時(shí)間管理小課堂，組織活動(dòng)由孩子討論出自己的《每日計(jì)劃表》，學(xué)習(xí)合理的安排時(shí)間和學(xué)習(xí)計(jì)劃。

Nord Anglia School Guangzhou, Panyu provides students with a comfortable living environment, allowing them to smoothly transition from home life to boarding life.

In the past month, our first class of boarding students have gradually adapted to the boarding life of NAS GZ, Panyu. Our dorm teachers arranged a series of guidance classes for the children to help them improve their life skills and self-management ability.

Our dorm teachers provided life skill trainings to Grade1-3 students, it included how to wash and fold clothes, and individual guidance and practical training for each student. Dorm teachers organized Grade 4-8 students to discuss their own daily schedule. We helped them to arrange their homework, aims to developing their time managements skill.

我們?yōu)橥瑢W(xué)們提供32門課外活動(dòng)課(ASA)，包括運(yùn)動(dòng)、學(xué)術(shù)、創(chuàng)意藝術(shù)、表演藝術(shù)等。孩子們可以參與各種各樣的活動(dòng)。當(dāng)同學(xué)們逐步認(rèn)識(shí)自己，發(fā)現(xiàn)自己是誰，喜歡什么的時(shí)候，他們可以組建自己的社團(tuán)，和小伙伴一起更深入地享受這項(xiàng)活動(dòng)給他們帶來的樂趣，同時(shí)提高自己各方面的能力逐步成長(zhǎng)為社團(tuán)領(lǐng)導(dǎo)者。

The boarding house offers 32 After School Activities (ASA) for our boarders, including Sports, academic, creative arts, and performing arts. Our students can participate in a variety of activities throughout the week. As they discover who they are and what they enjoy, they can create their own clubs to get a deeper look into their preferred interest activities and also grow as leaders and develop stronger skillsets.

Q：適應(yīng)寄宿生活了嗎?

Yan：完全適應(yīng)呀!我覺得可以用來學(xué)習(xí)的時(shí)間更多了呢!

Q：和舍友相處怎么樣?

Yan：很好。男孩子會(huì)打打鬧鬧，但是我們都是好朋友。

Muriel：我們有時(shí)候會(huì)鬧鬧小矛盾，但是很快就和好了。

Leo：跟舍友相處的過程中可以鍛煉人際交往技巧。

Q: Have you adapted to the boarding life?

Yan: Yes, Absolutely! I think I have more time to study.

Q: How do you get along with your dorm mates?

Yan: Good. Boys fight for fun, but we are all good friends.

Muriel: Sometimes we are at loggerheads with each other, but we become reconciled quickly.

Q：寄宿期間，生活老師給你帶來什么幫助?

Yan：老師教我們?nèi)绾沃朴喿约旱臅r(shí)間表，讓我們更加自律。我們有一個(gè)卡牌俱樂部，如果有不良行為會(huì)被要求去做社區(qū)服務(wù)。

Leo：我們的生活老師都很年輕，他們有各種愛好和特長(zhǎng)，在學(xué)習(xí)和生活的各個(gè)方面為我們答疑解難，感覺很棒!

Muriel：生活老師教會(huì)我如何做時(shí)間管理。

Q：過去幾周的寄宿生活，覺得自己有什么變化?

Yan：學(xué)會(huì)了獨(dú)立。我覺得這里很自由但有規(guī)則，我們被清晰的告知在什么時(shí)間可以做什么事情，這讓我有了自主的空間。

Leo：我在原來的學(xué)校里成績(jī)算不錯(cuò)，但是到這里后在英語方面得到了挑戰(zhàn)。跟以前最大的不同是，我學(xué)過的英語詞匯現(xiàn)在都能用上了。另外有很多選修課，我可以學(xué)自己喜歡的東西。

Muriel：我覺得我力氣變大了，我掰手腕都能贏過我們?nèi)嗟耐瑢W(xué)，更自信了!

Q: How do the dorm teachers help you?

Yan: Our dorm teachers teach us how to work out our daily schedule, help us to become more disciplined. We have card club, and If there is bad behavior, they will be asked to do community service.

Leo: Our dorm teachers are young. They have a variety of hobbies and special talent and help us in all aspects of learning and life.

Muriel：Our dorm teachers teach me how to do time management.

Q: How have you changed in the last few weeks of your boarding life.

Yan: I became independent. I think there is freedom but regulation. We are clearly told what we can do at what time, which gives me autonomy.

Leo: My academic result was quite good in my previous school. But I met challenges in English in NAS Guangzhou Panyu. I think the biggest difference is that all the English words I learned can be used now.

Muriel: I think I become stronger now, I can even beat my classmates by arm-wrestling. I am confident now!
