MIS is proud to announce that our IGCSE and A Level students have achieved far higher results in comparison with UK based students (reference: Ofqual 20 August 2020).

Our Year 13 graduates have achieved 90% A*-A , 50% A*, and 100% A*-B compared with 14.3% A*, 38.1% A*-A and 65.4% A*-B in England. Among them, students got 100% A* and A in Business Studies, Chinese, Computer Science, Economics, English Language, Further Mathematics, Further Mathematics Subsidiary, Global Perspectives & Research, Music, Physics and Pure Mathematics.

Our AS level grades pave the way to another amazing set of results next year, by achieving 85% A*-A and 100% A*-B.

Our IGCSE students' efforts have paid off with incredible results: 53% A*-A, 74% A*-B and 97% A*-C. This included 100% A* in Foreign Language Mandarin Chinese.

Teachers are the heart of all schools and MIS is no exception. MIS’s experienced and dedicated teaching team represent nine nationalities, have a huge collective breadth and depth of experience in international education. With a staggering 72% of our MIS teachers holding a Master’s degree you will agree they come from first class education backgrounds. Equally importantly, our teachers enjoy working with children and help them grow and develop. We seek to motivate students and provide them with academic and social skills.

MIS follows the British National Curriculum which is broad and engaging; from Early Years through to Y13 it exposes each student to a wide variety of subjects and learning skills.

The Juniors curriculum is enhanced by the International Primary Curriculum (IPC). It is taught in many international schools across the world. The IPC is taught on thematic topics with each lesson carefully planned to ensure that topic-related subjects such as Science, Humanities and Arts are covered.

The British curriculum is academically rigorous. At MIS it is also extended to assist students gain high academic progress. From this they will develop an understanding of which subjects they enjoy and which they are successful in; an important factor when making informed decisions about IGCSEs and A Levels, courses at university and indeed future careers.

University Counselling 升學(xué)指導(dǎo)
The MIS University Counselling Team helps students build upon their positive experiences to gain admission into universities all over the world. We have an excellent University Counselling Team which supports and prepares student in advance.

Our counselling programme guides and supports students throughout the university application process, formally beginning in Year 9 and continuing throughout Year 13. Some highlights of the programme include: 1-1 application guidance, University Application Planning Lectures, Sharing Sessions from graduates and teaching team, Parents Forums, University Fairs, IELTS mock exams, family individual interviews and pre-university cooking lessons.

Boarding 寄宿
British boarding school systems help students to acclimatise before they go onto university. This is another important part of supporting students at MIS. Homework sessions and gaining independence is essential for our MIS students. Each evening, students are monitored and supervised by teachers and duty staff.
