After many years of wandering the globe, today Nord Anglia School Shenzhen was honored to welcome home its sacred guardian, the Dragon. The dragon is a fierce creature that is feared and loved the world over. The dragon is often considered the messenger of good luck and legend has it that it is made up of 9 different animals, none of which is dispensable.

于家長(zhǎng)而言，望子成龍是對(duì)孩子的共同寄托，因?yàn)辇埓碇腔?，是賢德人才的象征。古時(shí)孔子見到老子后，認(rèn)為老子是“人中之龍”;諸葛亮出山之前躬耕隴畝，自稱“臥龍先生”。我們把學(xué)生比喻為龍，愿學(xué)生能用激情與活力展示自我。自古以來，對(duì)龍的寄托不僅僅是它的力量、智慧和勇氣：得勢(shì)則飛龍?jiān)谔?，氣?shì)非凡;更在面對(duì)困境時(shí)，能如龍一樣，潛行水下，臥薪嘗膽，等待蛟龍出水那一刻。我們期待學(xué)生不僅能叱咤風(fēng)云、飛龍?jiān)谔?，也能屈能伸志向高遠(yuǎn)。我們以龍象征著勇氣、沉穩(wěn)、理智和永不言棄的意義，象征著以學(xué)術(shù)、個(gè)人及社會(huì)素養(yǎng)的綜合發(fā)展做為學(xué)生成長(zhǎng)的目標(biāo)。

In ancient times, Confucius described Lao Tzu as the "dragon among people". Before Zhuge Liang started his career, he ploughed the land like a farmer and called himself "Wolong", or “the crouching dragon”. Dragons can be many things to many people, here at Nord Anglia School Shenzhen, we see our students as dragons. We see our students capable of many great deeds, we see them showing wisdom through their respect of others. We see them being resilient and never giving up on their dreams. We see them as responsible as they grow academically, personally and socially.

深圳諾德安達(dá)蛟龍是學(xué)校的精神象征，他代表著尊重，責(zé)任，毅力，以及在各種條件下的出類拔萃的競(jìng)爭(zhēng)力。

學(xué)校一直注重同學(xué)們?cè)谶\(yùn)動(dòng)方面的培養(yǎng)，學(xué)校堅(jiān)持認(rèn)為保證學(xué)生的健康以及安全是學(xué)校的重中之重，體育課的學(xué)習(xí)，能使腦力活動(dòng)與體力活動(dòng)交替進(jìn)行，起到有效的調(diào)節(jié)作用，從而有利于消除大腦的疲勞和提高其他學(xué)科的學(xué)習(xí)效率。學(xué)校的體育老師也會(huì)積極的安排各種體育活動(dòng)以及體育賽事。

屆時(shí)，中國(guó)龍會(huì)代表深圳諾德安達(dá)的體育精神，希望深圳的龍之隊(duì)，可以在未來集團(tuán)體育賽制上披荊斬棘，乘風(fēng)破浪。

Nord Anglia School Shenzhen Dragons will represent our school through their Respect, Responsibility, Resilience and fierce competitiveness in any situation.

In the future, the Chinese Dragon mascot will be a symbol of the sportsmanship of NAS Shenzhen, and we hope that the Dragon Team of NAS Shenzhen will get over obstacles and brave the winds and waves in the sports competitions organized by the Nord Anglia Group.
