深圳南山國(guó)際學(xué)校 經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)俱樂(lè)部在NEC上取得好成績(jī)

ISNS經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)俱樂(lè)部繼續(xù)為全美經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)挑戰(zhàn)賽作準(zhǔn)備。疫情期間，他們一起面對(duì)所有挑戰(zhàn)，每一輪比賽都發(fā)揮了自己最好的狀態(tài)。

Recently, a group of students from the Economics Club at ISNS joined the National Economics Challenge here in China. Organized by the Council for Economic Education (CEE), the National Economics Challenge (NEC) is the only economics competition of its kind for high school students in the United States and it was introduced into China five years ago. The competition tests micro and macroeconomic principles as well as knowledge of the world economy.

Our students advanced into the NEC China Finals from the preliminary round with three regional awards. After a successful preliminary showing, they confidently completed the NEC Online China Finals on June. 26th, 2020. They went through the Qualifying test, Critical Thinking round, and Super Econ round that required deep understanding in Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, and International Economics and Current Events.

The ISNS Economics Club continued to prepare for the NEC competition amidst all the challenges they faced during the pandemic as they worked together to bring their best in each round. In the end, our students stood out from more than 1,500 students from all over China and took home the following award:

Regional Overall Team Bronze Award Southern China

Reflecting on their achievement, Lauren Zh., rising Senior and team leader, said, "I'm delighted to see that our hard work paid off, and I'm proud of our team's achievements. We are also proud to use this opportunity to make contributions to our school community." James M., also a rising Senior, noted, "I'm proud of being a part of this amazing team and the effort we dedicated to showcasing the best of ISNS. NEC is a worthwhile endeavor and I hope students interested in Economics will carry on our legacy." Lastly, group member Kerry Ch., remarked: "Sufficient knowledge of economics was the foundation but collaboration was the key to our achievement."

近期，一群來(lái)自ISNS 經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)俱樂(lè)部的學(xué)生參加了由經(jīng)濟(jì)教育協(xié)會(huì)組織的中國(guó)全美經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)挑戰(zhàn)賽。全美經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)挑戰(zhàn)賽是唯一一家美國(guó)高校學(xué)生經(jīng)濟(jì)類(lèi)比賽，它在5年前引進(jìn)中國(guó)。這個(gè)比賽檢測(cè)了學(xué)生對(duì)微觀和宏觀經(jīng)濟(jì)原理和世界經(jīng)濟(jì)知識(shí)的了解。

我們的學(xué)生從全美經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)挑戰(zhàn)賽的初賽進(jìn)入了總決賽并獲得了三個(gè)地區(qū)賽獎(jiǎng)。經(jīng)過(guò)初賽的成功展示，他們?cè)?020年6月26日自信地完成了全美經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)線上中國(guó)站挑戰(zhàn)賽。他們通過(guò)了Qualifying Test 經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)測(cè)評(píng)，Critical Thinking 案例大剖析，Super Econ!經(jīng)濟(jì)創(chuàng)新賽，這需要對(duì)微觀經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)、宏觀經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)、國(guó)際經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)和時(shí)事有深入的理解。

ISNS經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)俱樂(lè)部繼續(xù)為全美經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)挑戰(zhàn)賽作準(zhǔn)備。疫情期間，他們一起面對(duì)所有挑戰(zhàn)，每一輪比賽都發(fā)揮了自己最好的狀態(tài)。最后，我們的學(xué)生從全國(guó)1500個(gè)學(xué)生中脫穎而出并贏得了下面獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)：

華南區(qū)域團(tuán)隊(duì)總分獎(jiǎng)-銅獎(jiǎng)

回顧他們?nèi)〉玫某删停?Lauren Zh.，即將成為高年級(jí)的學(xué)生，同時(shí)也是團(tuán)隊(duì)的領(lǐng)隊(duì)說(shuō)：“我很高興看到我們付出的努力得到了回報(bào)，為團(tuán)隊(duì)取得的成績(jī)感到驕傲，同時(shí)也為能給我們社區(qū)作出貢獻(xiàn)而感到驕傲?！盝ames M作為一名即將進(jìn)入高年級(jí)的學(xué)生說(shuō)到：“我很高興自己是這個(gè)優(yōu)秀團(tuán)隊(duì)的一員，很開(kāi)心我們付出的努力讓外界看到最好的ISNS。全美經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)挑戰(zhàn)賽是一個(gè)值得為之努力的比賽，我希望有越來(lái)越多的學(xué)生對(duì)經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)感興趣并延續(xù)我們的成就?！弊詈螅瑘F(tuán)隊(duì)成員Kerry Ch. 說(shuō)道：“擁有一個(gè)堅(jiān)實(shí)的經(jīng)濟(jì)知識(shí)體系是基礎(chǔ)，不過(guò)協(xié)作是我們?nèi)〉贸删偷年P(guān)鍵因素?！?/span>
