擴(kuò)招啦！城市綠洲&深國(guó)交雙雙迎來(lái)新校區(qū)。

這意味著，現(xiàn)有城市綠洲的校址將作為小學(xué)校區(qū)，用于小學(xué)學(xué)段的教學(xué)管理，中學(xué)學(xué)段的學(xué)生將不在這個(gè)校區(qū)內(nèi)生活學(xué)習(xí)，因此小學(xué)會(huì)進(jìn)一步擴(kuò)招。

不知學(xué)生家長(zhǎng)朋友們還曾記得去年十月份城市綠洲學(xué)校關(guān)于喬遷官宣，隨著上周六(6月19日)城市綠洲校長(zhǎng)Helen Swan在GOS發(fā)布的一篇公開信，似乎有了新的進(jìn)展和動(dòng)態(tài)。今天就為大家解讀一番。

前情回顧

校址變更2020年9月起，深國(guó)交搬遷至安托山六路11號(hào)新校區(qū)。地址由現(xiàn)在的"福田區(qū)皇崗公園一街18號(hào)“，變更為”福田區(qū)安托山6路11號(hào)“

2020年9月起，城市綠洲學(xué)校七年級(jí)，八年級(jí)，九年級(jí)(現(xiàn)六年級(jí)，七年級(jí)，八年級(jí))搬遷至深國(guó)交現(xiàn)址。

2020年9月起，小學(xué)部繼續(xù)使用城市綠洲(田面)校區(qū)。

課程變更

1.小學(xué)部專注于雙語(yǔ)課程。

2.初中部增加中國(guó)數(shù)學(xué)。

我懷著既不舍又興奮的心情書寫關(guān)于城市綠洲學(xué)校下一學(xué)年開始的變化。我覺得自己很幸運(yùn)，能在學(xué)校如此充滿活力的時(shí)期工作。在過去的19年里，學(xué)校不斷成長(zhǎng)和變化，才有了今天的成就，成為一所通過國(guó)際學(xué)校聯(lián)盟認(rèn)證的融合雙語(yǔ)課程的學(xué)校。當(dāng)我初到之時(shí)就決定把重點(diǎn)放在學(xué)校的指導(dǎo)綱領(lǐng)上?，F(xiàn)在，這些已經(jīng)融入到我們所有的工作中。我們還加強(qiáng)了對(duì)高品質(zhì)教學(xué)的投入。學(xué)校將繼續(xù)努力精益求精，我們的目的是確保為所有的學(xué)生提供最好的機(jī)會(huì)。

It is with a mixture of sadness and excitement that I write to you regarding the changes to Green Oasis School beginning next academic year. I feel so fortunate to have been at GOS during such a vibrant time. GOS has grown and changed over the last 19 years to reach where we are today, a fully Accredited Council of International School, with an English Curriculum that also values the Chinese language and culture. When I first arrived we made the decision to focus on our Guiding Statements. These are now embedded in all we do. We have also strengthened our commitment to high quality teaching and learning. We continue to strive to do better and our aim is to ensure all our students are given the best opportunities in all we do.

今年是城市綠洲學(xué)校迎來(lái)變化的一年，我們已經(jīng)告別了最后一批IGCSE學(xué)生。我們將把九、十年級(jí)的學(xué)生交給深國(guó)交，他們可以盡全力在學(xué)術(shù)之路上探索，做到最好。城市綠洲學(xué)校全體成員在此祝愿他們一切順利，并歡迎他們回來(lái)講述他們的精彩經(jīng)歷。

This year is a year of change for Green Oasis School. We have waved farewell to our last cohort of IGCSE students. We are handing our Year 10 and 9s to SCIE so they can continue to strive to be the best they can in all they do. The GOS community would like to wish them all the best and remember all our students are invited to return to tell us about their wonderful adventures.

This exciting change has been planned for some time, and although we are sad to see the students leave, we know they are going to be settled to continue their high school journey in vibrant new surroundings with teachers who will challenge and ensure they reach their potential. The nice thing is of our GOS IGCSE teachers are joining them at SCIE, so there will be familiar faces amongst the cohort and staff.

The next exciting change for Green Oasis School in moving forward is the development of a GOS Primary only campus. We are restructuring the school to open more classes to give more children an opportunity to experience and become involved in our unique and exciting curriculum. Of course school is so much more than academics, but we do continue to strive to ensure our students have the best of the West and the best of the East.

So this leads us to the formation of Shenzhen Oasis International School. It is a little like out of the ashes of the phoenix comes something new and energetic. In this case from Green Oasis School comes the new middle school SOIS. The new school will continue to follow the Guiding Statements of GOS, will continue with the same policies and procedures with some changes to the curriculum which will include Chinese Mathematics and Drama. The new school will be in located on the former SCIE campus in Shui Wei. Our Year 6, 7 and 8 students will become the first cohort of this new school from August 2020, but just like at SCIE there will be familiar faces both with the staff and amongst the students.

如果沒有城市綠洲學(xué)校每位成員的支持和投入，這一拓展是不可能實(shí)現(xiàn)的。這讓我想起了另一個(gè)令人興奮的消息。2021年，城市綠洲學(xué)校/綠洲國(guó)際將迎來(lái)20周年紀(jì)念。我們期待著在2021年舉辦的活動(dòng)中邀請(qǐng)大家與我們一起慶祝。更多詳情將在下一學(xué)年發(fā)給大家和校友。

Now of this expansion would not have been possible without the support and commitment of the whole GOS community. This brings me to another piece of exciting news. GOS/SOIS will celebrate 20 years of providing educational excellence to the families of Shenzhen in 2021. WE look forward to inviting you to celebrate with us at events to be held throughout 2021. 校區(qū)調(diào)整

城市綠洲學(xué)校(GOS)初中部名稱正式確認(rèn)為綠洲國(guó)際學(xué)校(SOIS)，綠洲國(guó)際學(xué)校直接轉(zhuǎn)為深國(guó)交的附屬初中。2020秋季新學(xué)年開始，小學(xué)部(田面校區(qū))在現(xiàn)有教學(xué)特色基礎(chǔ)上，專注以綜合素質(zhì)教育為核心的小學(xué)雙語(yǔ)課程。學(xué)校初中部(望崗公園校區(qū))將進(jìn)行課程改革，核心為增加中國(guó)數(shù)學(xué)課程，以保持中國(guó)學(xué)生在數(shù)學(xué)上的傳統(tǒng)優(yōu)勢(shì)，并順利對(duì)接深國(guó)交(橋香路新校區(qū))的整體教學(xué)戰(zhàn)略。

9-11年級(jí)將移交深國(guó)交管理

城市綠洲告別了最后一批IGCSE學(xué)生，將把9、10年級(jí)的學(xué)生交給深國(guó)交。學(xué)校的IGCSE老師將加入深國(guó)交進(jìn)行教學(xué)工作。這意味著，往后城市綠洲將不再有高中，主要負(fù)責(zé)小學(xué)、初中的管理教學(xué)。城市綠洲把高年級(jí)學(xué)生移交給了深國(guó)交，但這并不代表著城市綠洲的學(xué)生可以直升深國(guó)交，信中并沒提到可直升的問題。據(jù)推測(cè)還是需要依據(jù)考試成績(jī)(2019年以前，城市綠洲的孩子在就讀到10年級(jí)時(shí)，英語(yǔ)和其他的4門科目，拿到C或C以上的成績(jī)，就可以被深國(guó)交接收。 目前不清楚新的政策)

關(guān)于擴(kuò)招

信中提到，城市綠洲將成為一所專門的小學(xué)校區(qū)。學(xué)校正在調(diào)整學(xué)校結(jié)構(gòu)以開設(shè)更多的班級(jí)，擴(kuò)大招生。這意味著，現(xiàn)有城市綠洲的校址將作為小學(xué)校區(qū)，用于小學(xué)學(xué)段的教學(xué)管理，中學(xué)學(xué)段的學(xué)生將不在這個(gè)校區(qū)內(nèi)生活學(xué)習(xí)，因此小學(xué)會(huì)進(jìn)一步擴(kuò)招。

深國(guó)交即將搬往新的安托山校區(qū)(深圳市福田區(qū)香蜜湖片區(qū)安托山六路11號(hào))

深國(guó)交新校區(qū)可容納2000左右學(xué)生，因此新校區(qū)招生規(guī)模會(huì)有增加也是理所應(yīng)當(dāng)。通過深國(guó)交發(fā)布2020-2021年最新招生簡(jiǎn)章來(lái)看。今年的招生總名額達(dá)到534人，相較去年招生總?cè)藬?shù)整體翻了一倍有余。
