本學(xué)年結(jié)束以后，我們即將與幼兒小學(xué)部校長Ms. Anne Laurenson道別，同時幼兒小學(xué)部將迎來兩位非常有經(jīng)驗的教學(xué)領(lǐng)導(dǎo)。

Dear SWIS Community,

The end of an international school year often marks a time for change and transition.

This year, in the Early Years and Primary Division, SWIS will say a fond farewell Ms. Anne Laurenson and welcome two new experienced international school leaders.

Ms. Anne Laurenson has served SWIS for three years as the Early Years and Primary Principal. Ms. Anna is a passionate and incredibly knowledgeable PYP practitioner. During her tenure at SWIS, she has transformed the PYP into one of the most effective programs in the region. Ms. Anna will also be remembered for her unwavering “child as the center” philosophy to educational leadership. Ms. Anna has decided to make a career shift and will be heading back to the classroom as a Grade 2 Homeroom teacher at Oakley College, Gran Canaria, Spain.

Please join us in welcoming Mr. Daryl Imanishi as SWIS’s in his new role as the Early Years and Primary Principal for the upcoming academic year.

SWIS will also have two new Early Years and Primary Assistant Principals join the division for the 2020-21 academic year. Please welcome Ms. Vani Vesco and Chloe Hill to SWIS.

在國際學(xué)校，我們每年在臨近學(xué)期末之前甚至更早，就提前為下一年做好規(guī)劃和各項準(zhǔn)備。

Ms. Anne Laurenson過去三年擔(dān)任幼兒小學(xué)部校長，我們親切地叫她Anna 校長。Anna校長是一位非常熱情、經(jīng)驗豐富的PYP教育者，在她領(lǐng)導(dǎo)幼兒小學(xué)部期間，我們的PYP課程項目得到了很大發(fā)展，在本區(qū)域同類PYP學(xué)校中的表現(xiàn)非常出色。Anna校長非常執(zhí)著地堅持著“以孩子為中心”的教育理念和領(lǐng)導(dǎo)理念。在2020年不平凡的一年，Anna校長作出一個重要決定，她決定擁抱初心，重新回到課堂，下一年她即將去到西班牙，到位于Gran Canaria 的Oakley College 當(dāng)一名2年級老師。
