If you want to comprehend the IB education, then understanding the learner profile attributes is vital. Each attribute is critical, and how they work together is equally important. As you learn about each attribute, you gain a better understanding of why they were chosen. Yet, sometimes you may be left still wondering, how does that attribute come alive? What does it look like inside and outside of the classroom? To help bring clarity, we will explore the lives of some of our incredible students and how they individually embody particular learner profile attributes.

We want to introduce you to Akhil. Akhil has been a member of the ISNS community since Grade 4. Since joining ISNS, he has made many positive contributions to the school as a result of his abilities as a communicator. Whether it is in class, on the court, or during Student Representative Council (SRC) meetings, Akhil can be seen confidently expressing himself and listening carefully to others' perspectives. He is someone who is trusted by his peers to look and bring concerns to the SRC. Akhil takes this role very seriously and does everything he can to make ISNS the best place for his friends, peers, and teachers. Akhil's tenure at ISNS match his contribution to our community. As he moves on to his next adventure, we are confident he will take the skills gained as a communicator with him to continue to make a positive change for others.

“To be successful, I had to face the challenges head-on and adapt accordingly; thanks to ISNS, no roadblock can stop me now as I have acquired the necessary skills to keep growing as a student.

問2:善于交流這個(gè)IB屬性對(duì)你日常生活有什么影響呢?答2:在國(guó)際學(xué)校學(xué)習(xí)意味著我每天需要和擁有不同文化和社交背景的學(xué)生老師們交流互動(dòng)。對(duì)于我來說,一個(gè)出色的交流者是可以有效地分享他們的意見和想法并充分地接受他人的看法和信念。當(dāng)我在小組里,我會(huì)嘗試建立一張清晰的溝通網(wǎng),這樣我們就能有效且高效地合作。我經(jīng)常嘗試自信地說出我的想法,我并不害怕從各種角度看待問題。相反,我經(jīng)常試圖進(jìn)行建設(shè)性交流以讓討論往好的方向發(fā)展。幸運(yùn)的是我在不同的國(guó)家學(xué)習(xí)過,這讓我的看法和理想受到了當(dāng)?shù)匚幕难?。最后,我發(fā)現(xiàn)這樣會(huì)很容易理解他人的看法。

Q4:你最喜歡ISNS什么?
A4:我四年級(jí)就在ISNS就讀了,學(xué)校社區(qū)的不斷壯大讓我很驚訝;我們?cè)?jīng)是一所很小的學(xué)校,學(xué)生們選擇學(xué)術(shù),運(yùn)動(dòng)等等的機(jī)會(huì)是很有限的,而現(xiàn)在學(xué)校給來自全球各地的學(xué)生提供了無限的可能性。

A6:我的父親是對(duì)我的人生最有影響的人,因?yàn)槲沂且运麨闃?biāo)準(zhǔn)來設(shè)定我的人生標(biāo)桿。每次我們交談,不管話題是什么,交流的背后會(huì)引發(fā)一些深思,讓我嘗試融入我的生活中。我的父親在我困難的時(shí)候會(huì)指導(dǎo)我,不管是在選擇大學(xué)還是如何系領(lǐng)帶上,和他在一起的分分秒秒都有助于我發(fā)展成為今天的自己。
Do not miss out on things as you cannot expect the next day to be the same; enjoy the small moments with your friends and family, learn from the little mistakes you make, relax after working hard and live life like tomorrow is going to be completely different.
