很多家長(zhǎng)聽(tīng)到很多A-level、IB、AP，但是卻不知道他們之間有什么區(qū)別，哪一種才是孩子最適合的國(guó)際課程。今天小編和大家聊一聊A-level、IB、AP三大國(guó)際課程體系的區(qū)別。

When we mentioned international curriculum, most parents know the popular curricula such as A-level, IB, AP, etc. However, they cannot tell the differences between these curricula. Today, we are going to introduce these three curricula in detail, as well as the significant differences.

A-level課程

整體課程最簡(jiǎn)單，中國(guó)學(xué)生的黃金課程體系

英國(guó)高中課程(英國(guó)高中學(xué)歷證明)，是全球影響力最強(qiáng)、最古老的一種國(guó)際課程，申請(qǐng)英聯(lián)邦國(guó)家的說(shuō)服力非常強(qiáng)。A-Level相當(dāng)于英國(guó)的11-12年級(jí)課程，許多國(guó)際學(xué)校現(xiàn)在也引入了IGCSE，即英國(guó)的中學(xué)的9-10年級(jí)課程，作為鋪墊。A-Level最大的優(yōu)點(diǎn)是打破了組別、文理科限制，學(xué)生可以自由選擇科目，非常適合偏科(比如不擅長(zhǎng)數(shù)學(xué))的學(xué)生。

The British High School curriculum (UK High School Certificate) is one of the most influential and oldest international courses in the world, which is persuasive when applying for Commonwealth Nations. A-Level is equivalent to UK Senior School Grade 11-12, and many international schools now introduce IGCSE, Grade 9-10 in British secondary schools, as a supporting. The greatest advantage of A-Level is that it breaks down course-binding, like sciences courses and liberal arts, and students are free to choose subjects, so it particularly fits for student who favors some subjects and neglects some.

IB課程

整體課程最難，培養(yǎng)學(xué)生綜合能力，課業(yè)負(fù)擔(dān)重同時(shí)有社會(huì)實(shí)踐要求

國(guó)際高中課程(國(guó)際高中學(xué)歷證明)，對(duì)英語(yǔ)要求最高，所有IBDP文憑項(xiàng)目學(xué)生必須在規(guī)定的六個(gè)學(xué)科組中每組選一門課程進(jìn)行學(xué)習(xí), 6組是指中文、英語(yǔ)、人文社科、實(shí)驗(yàn)科學(xué)、數(shù)學(xué)計(jì)算機(jī)和藝術(shù).

It is international high school courses (international high school certificates), with high requirements for English, all IBDP diploma program students must choose one subject from each subject group of Studies in language and literature, Language acquisition, Individuals and societies, Sciences, Mathematics and Art.

IB的學(xué)生不僅文科，理科甚至藝術(shù)的專業(yè)課都要學(xué)習(xí)，還要有大量的時(shí)間去完成各種論文和參加社會(huì)活動(dòng)，所以IB對(duì)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)能力要求非常高。對(duì)于中國(guó)學(xué)生，從語(yǔ)言要求和學(xué)習(xí)方式的適應(yīng)上來(lái)看，應(yīng)該是“最難”的課程。IB students not only study literature, science and even the professional courses of arts, but also take a lot of time to complete a variety of papers and participate in social activities, so IB curriculum has a very high requirements on students’ ability. For Chinese students, from perspective of language requirements and adaptation to learning, definitely it is the "most difficult" curriculum.

AP課程

屬于錦上添花型課程，如考分不高則用處不大

不是高中課程，所以不具備高中學(xué)歷證明，屬于美國(guó)大學(xué)預(yù)修課程，是美國(guó)大學(xué)理事會(huì)提供的在高中授課的大學(xué)課程，目的是給一些優(yōu)秀的學(xué)生提前學(xué)習(xí)大學(xué)課程，得到一定的成績(jī)后可獲得大學(xué)學(xué)分的機(jī)會(huì)。選修AP課程不僅可以展現(xiàn)學(xué)生的能力，它還是一種省錢的措施。雖然AP課程最初的設(shè)立是讓一些優(yōu)秀的學(xué)生上大學(xué)后節(jié)省時(shí)間和金錢，但是在國(guó)內(nèi)一些學(xué)校開(kāi)設(shè)了AP課程作為高中課程，以此成績(jī)?nèi)ド暾?qǐng)美國(guó)的大學(xué)。

AP is not a high school course, so does not have a high school qualification certificate. It is the pre-Course of university which could be studied in high school, provided by the University Council of the university, the purpose is to give some outstanding students to study the university course in advance, to get college credit after obtaining a certain grade. Taking an AP course not only demonstrates the students' abilities, but also is a money-saving measure. Although the AP program was originally set up to save some time and money for some good students in college, some institutions offer AP courses as high school courses for students to apply to U.S. universities.
