我們期待與大家一起恢復(fù)到正常的上學(xué)狀態(tài)。但是，需要注意的是，5月開學(xué)后的這段時(shí)間也是一段需要大家共同謹(jǐn)慎應(yīng)對(duì)的特殊時(shí)期。

Dear Parents, Students, and Employees,

親愛的各位家長(zhǎng)，同學(xué)和教職員工們，

As you know, The Guangdong Provincial People’s Government has authorized Guangdong schools to prepare to resume on May 11. This date is subject to further notice and possible modification from the government.

如您所知，廣東省人民政府已批準(zhǔn)省內(nèi)學(xué)校預(yù)備在5月11日開學(xué)。根據(jù)政府的后續(xù)通知，此開學(xué)日期仍將有進(jìn)一步調(diào)整的可能。

RDF International School is preparing to open on May 11 and is taking all measures required by the government to open the school on that day.

當(dāng)前，我校所有教職員工正在全力推進(jìn)、嚴(yán)格落實(shí)政府對(duì)各學(xué)校春季學(xué)生返校工作所提出的各項(xiàng)要求，為5月11日的學(xué)生返校做好充足的準(zhǔn)備。

Unless we give a modified announcement sooner, we will follow the plan and look forward to seeing you on the start date of May 11!

如果我們后續(xù)沒有再發(fā)布修改開學(xué)日期的公告，那么，我們將按該計(jì)劃，期待5月11日開學(xué)日與大家的見面!

Together with you, we look forward to returning eventually to a state of normalcy. However, please note that May is a period of cautious opening, and RDFIS is fully committed to implementing all necessary precautions.

我們期待與大家一起恢復(fù)到正常的上學(xué)狀態(tài)。但是，需要注意的是，5月開學(xué)后的這段時(shí)間也是一段需要大家共同謹(jǐn)慎應(yīng)對(duì)的特殊時(shí)期。與大家一道，學(xué)校將致力于實(shí)施所有必要的防控措施。

In the meantime, we are grateful that no RDFIS families or employees are known to have been infected with the COVID-19 virus. We hope that will

remain the case, and we will do all we can to protect and maintain student health at the school.

* HEALTH TESTING 健康測(cè)試

All faculty and staff will undergo a nucleic acid COVID-19 test before school resumes.

所有教職員工在5月11日學(xué)校開學(xué)之前都將接受COVID-19核酸測(cè)試。

* ONLINE TEACHING 在線教學(xué)

Online teaching will continue full-time until Friday, May 8. We are continuing to make enhancements in the online teaching methods. Teachers will continue making daily lesson materials available online through Friday, May 22, 2020 or later for students who cannot return to campus sooner.

網(wǎng)絡(luò)教學(xué)將持續(xù)到5月8日(星期五)。我們將持續(xù)改進(jìn)在線教學(xué)方法，老師們也將繼續(xù)為少數(shù)因疫情未能回國的同學(xué)們提供在線課程學(xué)習(xí)材料，直到 2020年5月22日的星期五或者更后的日期。

* RETURN TO CAMPUS 返校時(shí)間

Students may return to campus on the afternoon of May 10. Dinner will be provided.

* CLASS RESUMPTION 恢復(fù)正常課堂教學(xué)

All RDFIS classes are expected to begin on May 11. At present, there are 12 foreign teachers in our school who are still outside of China due to entry restrictions, and they cannot return to China temporarily. However,

these teachers will continue to teach this semester online. While these teachers are teaching remotely, we will also equip their corresponding classrooms with a teacher to help manage the classroom and help students learn.

學(xué)校所有的課堂教學(xué)預(yù)計(jì)將于5月11日開始。目前我們學(xué)校有12名外教由于入境限制還在中國境外，暫時(shí)無法返回中國。但是，這些老師將繼續(xù)在線教授本學(xué)期課程。在這些老師遠(yuǎn)程授課的同時(shí)，我們也將在其對(duì)應(yīng)的授課教室配備一名老師協(xié)助管理課堂，幫助同學(xué)們的學(xué)習(xí)。

* REGULAR SCHEDULE 課程表

Beginning May 11, all classes will resume on the following schedule. We will continue on a P1–P7 schedule each day of the week.

從5月11日開始，我們將繼續(xù)按照以下周一到周五P1-P7的課程時(shí)間表安排上課。

* MASKS 佩戴口罩

For the rest of this semester, all students and teachers will be required to wear masks while in the school.

在本學(xué)期的剩余時(shí)間里，所有學(xué)生和老師在校期間都必須配戴口罩。

* ACCESS LIMITATIONS 校園進(jìn)出限制

We will strictly manage access the school campus to ensure the safety of students.

我們將嚴(yán)格執(zhí)行校園準(zhǔn)入制度，確保學(xué)生的安全。

* HYGIENE 衛(wèi)生工作

School cleaners will disinfect the school campus multiple times daily. All students and employees are encouraged to wash their hands more frequently and longer. There are strategies for washing hands, and we have posted these reminders and instructions on how to wash hands thoroughly in various locations around the school.

我校清潔工每天將對(duì)校園進(jìn)行多次常規(guī)消毒。另外，我們鼓勵(lì)所有學(xué)生勤洗手，并適當(dāng)延長(zhǎng)每次洗手的時(shí)間。我們也已經(jīng)在學(xué)校的各個(gè)位置張貼關(guān)于如何正確洗手的提示和指導(dǎo)。

* MEAL TIME SOCIAL DISTANCING 用餐政策

For the rest of the semester, students will eat lunch and dinner meals in their dorm rooms, rather than eating in the canteen, to maintain appropriate physical distancing during this period of cautious re-opening.

在本學(xué)期的剩余時(shí)間里，學(xué)生將在宿舍內(nèi)吃午餐和晚餐，而不是在食堂里用餐，以使大家在此期間保持適當(dāng)?shù)奈锢砭嚯x。

* NO LARGE GATHERINGS 取消大型的集會(huì)

There will be no large student assemblies.

* TEMPERATURE CHECKS 體溫檢查

There will be three temperature checks daily for all students and teachers. Students or teachers with fevers will be sent immediately to the prescribed location for testing and treatment.

每天學(xué)校將對(duì)所有師生進(jìn)行三次常規(guī)的體溫檢查。發(fā)燒的學(xué)生或老師將會(huì)被立即送往規(guī)定的地點(diǎn)進(jìn)行檢測(cè)和治療。

* AP EXAMS AP考試

All AP exams will be held online this year in early May. Teachers will provide details to students in their classes.

全部的AP考試將于今年5月初在線進(jìn)行。老師們將在課堂上向同學(xué)們提供詳細(xì)的信息。

2.Exam Requirement考試要求:

Students will be able to take exams on any device they have access to—computer, tablet, or smartphone. They will be able to either type and upload their responses or write responses by hand and submit a photo via their cell phone.

學(xué)生可以使用電腦、平板或者手機(jī)參加考試，也可以在紙上作答拍照提交。

Students taking AP tests may be excused campus as needed during May 11–22, but students remain responsible for the work they miss during their absence.

在5月11日至22日AP考試期間，參加AP考試的同學(xué)們可以根據(jù)需要請(qǐng)假，但同學(xué)們?nèi)孕柰瓿烧?qǐng)假期間的課程任務(wù)。

* FREE ACADEMIC SUMMER CAMP 免費(fèi)的學(xué)術(shù)性暑期夏令營

During the summer vacation, our school will provide students with a 4-week on-campus free summer camp that focuses on English, math, science, leadership, history, and other subjects. Considering that some students have their own arrangements during the summer, students can decide whether to participate according to their actual situation and wishes. More details about this academic summer camp will be announced soon.

暑假期間，我校將為學(xué)生們提供免費(fèi)的、為期4個(gè)星期的學(xué)術(shù)性暑期夏令營。該夏令營主要側(cè)重于提升同學(xué)們的英語、數(shù)學(xué)、科學(xué)、領(lǐng)導(dǎo)力、歷史和其他學(xué)科的學(xué)術(shù)水平?？紤]到有些學(xué)生在暑期期間有自己的安排，各位學(xué)生可根據(jù)自己的實(shí)際情況和意愿決定是否參加。關(guān)于這個(gè)學(xué)術(shù)性暑期夏令營的更多詳細(xì)信息將在不久后公布。

* What Has Your COVID-19 At-Home Experience Been Like?

新冠疫情期間，你有什么樣的經(jīng)歷?

Elanna同學(xué)享了他在疫情期間受到的影響，包括出門前的體溫檢查。Elanna還展示了他是如何利用空閑時(shí)間來提高自己的各種才能和愛好的。

Students Emily and Linda share what it's like to live and study during the COVID-19 pandemic, including the separation of their family and how they cope with the quarantine.

* LABOR DAY HOLIDAY 勞動(dòng)節(jié)放假

Please note that the Labor Day Holiday will be observed May 1–5 as a statutory holiday. No classes will be held during those days. Please enjoy the Labor Day Holiday with your families!
