深圳華美外國語學(xué)?！猈SC世界學(xué)者杯和ASDAN 模擬商業(yè)競賽走入華美校園

10月24日晚上7點(diǎn)到8點(diǎn)在學(xué)校洽談室，來自ASDAN 學(xué)院的洪佳佳 Jaslyn老師和潘婷 Catherine 老師給華美初中學(xué)子帶了精彩的“WSC世界學(xué)者杯”學(xué)術(shù)競賽和 “ASDAN 模擬商業(yè)競賽”的介紹講座。 At HM School’s lecture hall ,Jaslyn and Catherine from ASDAN brought us a wonderful lecture on WSC and ASDAN on October 24th.

講座開始前，劉禮功校長分享了過去帶領(lǐng)學(xué)生參賽的成功經(jīng)歷，介紹了比賽訓(xùn)練的核心素養(yǎng)，同時(shí)鼓勵(lì)華美學(xué)子們努力學(xué)好英語，走出去看看更加廣闊的世界，全方位提升自己。接下來洪佳佳 Jaslyn老師帶來一群孩子們喜歡“羊駝” 娃娃，并送出了第一個(gè)禮物，講座就在同學(xué)們的一片歡呼聲中拉開了序幕。

Before the lecture, Principal Liu shared his experience in guiding his students in participating in the competition and encouraged the students to learn English well so that they could enjoy a bigger stage. Jaslyn sent the firest Alpaca to activate the atmosphere of the lecture.

本次講座主要分為兩個(gè)部分，WSC 世界學(xué)者杯學(xué)術(shù)競賽的介紹和ASDAN 模擬商業(yè)競賽的介紹。

The lecture consisted two parts, introduction of WSC and ASDAN.

WSC 世界學(xué)者杯學(xué)術(shù)競賽是一項(xiàng)源于美國，風(fēng)靡全球的學(xué)術(shù)嘉年華，其參與國家達(dá)70多個(gè)，舉辦城市超過140個(gè)，參賽選手超過5萬，曾舉辦過140多場區(qū)域賽，6場全球賽以及在耶魯舉行的冠軍賽。創(chuàng)始人Daniel 是曾在耶魯和斯坦福大學(xué)求學(xué)13年之久的一位非常熱愛學(xué)術(shù)，熱愛學(xué)習(xí)的學(xué)者，他創(chuàng)辦比賽的初衷是為了讓學(xué)術(shù)更有趣，為青春喝彩。世界學(xué)者杯的晉級(jí)之路分為區(qū)域賽、全球賽和耶魯冠軍賽。世界學(xué)者杯中國組委會(huì)ASDAN 中國是一個(gè)由英國教育部認(rèn)可的教育平臺(tái)，專注素質(zhì)教育研發(fā)38年，在全球由6000所學(xué)校20萬ASDANer, 在中國有超過350所學(xué)校超過5萬ASDANer, 項(xiàng)目認(rèn)證涉及綜合學(xué)術(shù)，商學(xué)，理工科，志愿者，職業(yè)拓展，領(lǐng)導(dǎo)力等。2019世界杯的學(xué)術(shù)主題為一個(gè)邊緣化的世界A World On the Margins, 涉及六大學(xué)科， 分別為通史，歷史，藝術(shù)，社會(huì)學(xué)，科學(xué)，文學(xué)。它的學(xué)術(shù)競技環(huán)節(jié)為團(tuán)隊(duì)搶答Scholar’s Bowl, 知識(shí)挑戰(zhàn) Scholar’s Challenge , 協(xié)同合作Collaborative Writing,學(xué)術(shù)辯論 Team Debate.

WSC short for World Scholar’s Championship is originated from the US , which is a global academic carnival. More than 70 countries have been involved in it and the number of hosting cities amount to over 140 with 50 thousand participants and more than 140 regional round and 6 global finals and Champions in Yale. The founder of WSC Daniel is a scholar who has studied in Yale and Standford University for more than 13 years.He enjoys academic learning and knowledge so much that he created this WSC to make academic learning more fun and youth more wonderful.

現(xiàn)場洪佳佳老師還詳細(xì)地介紹了每個(gè)比賽環(huán)節(jié)的比賽規(guī)則以及每個(gè)環(huán)節(jié)的樣題，并現(xiàn)場讓同學(xué)們嘗試了做題，體驗(yàn)了做題的樂趣，現(xiàn)場氣氛非常活躍，另外洪佳佳老師還播放了比賽現(xiàn)場的賽程視頻，讓同學(xué)們對(duì)于有了更加直觀的認(rèn)識(shí)，比賽的額外獎(jiǎng)勵(lì)就是可愛的羊駝。

Jaslyn introduced the competition rules and quizzes in detailed and introduced us to the live quiz to taste the fun of the competition.The atmosphere was great.

講座的后半部分是由和潘婷老師和洪佳佳老師共同介紹ASAN 商業(yè)模擬競賽。

Catherine introduced the ASDAN competition in the latter part of the lecture with Jaslyn.

商業(yè)模擬競賽規(guī)則是從創(chuàng)立一個(gè)公司的角度出發(fā)，需要參賽者組建團(tuán)隊(duì)Team , 設(shè)計(jì)同類產(chǎn)品product ，以及使用由大賽給到的同等模擬創(chuàng)業(yè)基金Money ，同類公司進(jìn)行競爭，最后以公司營業(yè)利潤額進(jìn)行排名競爭。在拍賣大賽中，每個(gè)公司將競拍不同資源，掌握不同 資源的公司之間就所需資源進(jìn)行買賣、談判與交易， 每個(gè)公司需要盡可能獲取自己所需的資源。排名前60%的隊(duì)伍獲得ASDAN“青年企業(yè)家”證書 (證書獲得英國教育部授權(quán))。ASDAN 商業(yè)模擬競賽的晉級(jí)形式也是分為區(qū)域賽，全明星賽和全國總決賽，分別頒發(fā)金銀銅牌。

ASDAN needs participants to build a team , produce a product and initial cash to start a company and they fight for the same goal with the same amount of initial cash. If participants ranked 60% among all the competitors, they will win a certificate of Youth Entrepreneur. It also consists of regional round, all-star round, and national round with awards.

本次講座非常成功，同學(xué)們的激情高漲，學(xué)習(xí)的熱情和動(dòng)力被點(diǎn)燃，都想好好提升英語，并且全方位地提升自己地綜合學(xué)術(shù)素養(yǎng)和商學(xué)素養(yǎng)。

The lecture was a great success because students were excited to learn English and improve themselves in a all-round manner.

“有舞臺(tái)就給舞臺(tái)，沒有舞臺(tái)就搭建舞臺(tái)”，華美外國語學(xué)校學(xué)生培養(yǎng)課別樣精彩。今天我們把世界學(xué)者杯The World Scholar's Cup帶到華美外國語學(xué)校，明天希望華美學(xué)子終將能把自己培養(yǎng)成不同領(lǐng)域的“學(xué)者”。
