深圳奧斯翰外語(yǔ)學(xué)校Oxstand閱讀進(jìn)行時(shí)--記2019年世界圖書(shū)周活動(dòng)

一直以來(lái)，深圳致力于推動(dòng)全民閱讀活動(dòng)，成為全國(guó)典范。《深圳讀書(shū)月宣言》寫(xiě)出了每個(gè)愛(ài)閱讀的市民的心聲：“讓深圳成為一個(gè)因熱愛(ài)讀書(shū)而受人尊重的城市吧！” 為豐富校園文化生活，營(yíng)造“師生共讀書(shū)”的氛圍，奧斯翰在4月23日“國(guó)際讀書(shū)日”之際舉辦了“世界圖書(shū)周”系列活動(dòng)，激發(fā)了師學(xué)生的讀書(shū)熱情，提高了師生的綜合素養(yǎng)。

--World Book Week 2019

深圳奧斯翰外語(yǔ)學(xué)校于上周成功舉辦了世界圖書(shū)周活動(dòng)。在整周的活動(dòng)期間，學(xué)校以書(shū)籍為核心，組織了豐富多彩、靈活多樣的活動(dòng)。國(guó)際部各個(gè)年級(jí)的師生積極參與，使這讀書(shū)周成為難忘的一周。

Last week we celebrated World Book Week here at Oxstand and it was a huge success. Events were held throughout the week with all grades in the international programs making a massive effort to make it a memorable week.

書(shū)簽與書(shū)籍封面設(shè)計(jì)展

Bookmarks and Book Covers Design

周一，我們舉辦了書(shū)簽與書(shū)籍封面設(shè)計(jì)展。學(xué)生們通過(guò)制作書(shū)簽和書(shū)籍封面設(shè)計(jì)，來(lái)展示自己對(duì)書(shū)籍的鐘愛(ài)。書(shū)簽設(shè)計(jì)是本次活動(dòng)的獨(dú)特亮點(diǎn)。學(xué)生充分發(fā)揮想象力和創(chuàng)造力，運(yùn)用身邊的每一種材料來(lái)制作創(chuàng)意感十足的書(shū)簽。同樣令人高興的是，在培養(yǎng)競(jìng)爭(zhēng)意識(shí)的同時(shí)，越來(lái)越多的學(xué)生駐足欣賞、品評(píng)學(xué)習(xí)同齡人的佳作。

The week started on Monday with bookmarks and book covers being made to celebrate the favourite books that the students love. The bookmark design’s was a particular highlight with the student’s creative energies showcasing the imagination and creativity that our students have, with bookmarks being made from every material and technique known to the students. It was also great to see the students getting competitive about the bookmarks with students asking to showcase their talents right up to the end of bookweek as more and more students stopped to look at the work done by their fellow peers.

周二，我們與中國(guó)各大知名圖書(shū)供應(yīng)商聯(lián)合舉行了國(guó)際圖書(shū)展，向感興趣的學(xué)生老師們展示來(lái)自世界各地的精品圖書(shū)。此次書(shū)展使全校師生一覽未來(lái)幾年將會(huì)使用的豐富的教育前沿書(shū)籍。

On the Tuesday we had our bookfair with some of the biggest book companies in China showcasing their collections to the interested public. This was an excellent event which enabled both teacher and student to see the wide range of books that are available for further educations in the years ahead.

朗讀者

Passage Reading

在圖書(shū)周的每一天，學(xué)生們分別使用普通話、廣東話、英語(yǔ)、日語(yǔ)和韓語(yǔ)朗讀名篇佳作。所有參與朗讀的同學(xué)都做到了聲情并茂，使全體師生樂(lè)享其中、回味無(wú)窮。

During the week we also had passage reading done through the speakers in the school with students reading out passages in Mandarin, Cantonese, English，Japanese and Korean. All the students who read did so eloquently and made the event an enjoyable one for the student body and faculty as a whole.

作品主題裝飾大賽

Classroom Decoration

周四，我們進(jìn)行了以文學(xué)作品為主題的教室裝飾大賽，每個(gè)班級(jí)都共同努力精心裝飾了教室。同學(xué)們通過(guò)分享、討論選出了班級(jí)最受歡迎的圖書(shū)，《哈利·波特》系列顯然風(fēng)靡整個(gè)校園。

On Thursday we had classroom decoration with great work done by each class. It was fascinating to see what book each class would choose with Harry Potter being a clear favourite across the grades.

角色扮演大賽

Character Cosplay Show

周五是圖書(shū)角色扮演日。所有年級(jí)的學(xué)生都齊聚音樂(lè)廳，總結(jié)回顧整個(gè)圖書(shū)證活動(dòng)及之前的科技節(jié)成果。不同年級(jí)的同學(xué)分別裝扮成哈利·波特和不同的漫畫(huà)人物，同時(shí)對(duì)自己扮演的角色做口頭介紹。

Friday was character cosplay with all grades being brought into the auditorium to summarize the events of the week past and also to remember the triumph that was Science Week. Several of the students had made the effort to dress up with Harry Potter coming out on top with some Manga characters also making a good appearance.

總的來(lái)說(shuō)，經(jīng)過(guò)老師的精心策劃與指導(dǎo)，學(xué)生充分展示創(chuàng)意性才能并且積極投入，本次世界讀書(shū)周系列活動(dòng)圓滿成功、意義深遠(yuǎn)。我們衷心祝愿明年的圖書(shū)周活動(dòng)取得更大的成功!

Overall World Book Week was a success due to the work put in by student body who outdid themselves in their creativity and effort. We all sincerely hope that this event will be a bigger success next year and in the years to come.
