Dear FIFA Families,

Welcome back to another exciting term!I hope you are well rested and ready to get back to studying hard!

歡迎回到泰然,開(kāi)啟一個(gè)新學(xué)期的旅程! 我希望大家都得到充分的休息，以飽滿熱情好努力學(xué)習(xí)了!

You might remember that on the first day of school when I was speaking on this stage during our first flag rising together, I challenged each of you to make at least 2 friends from the other department. So, if you are a student in the bi-lingual department, then make 2 friends with someone from the international department and vice-versa. Has anyone done that?

你們應(yīng)該還記得上學(xué)期開(kāi)學(xué)典禮時(shí)候，我說(shuō)過(guò)希望每位同學(xué)都能交到至少2個(gè)的好朋友，如果你是雙語(yǔ)部的同學(xué)，那應(yīng)該有2位國(guó)際部的好朋友，反之亦然。大家都做到了嗎?

I see one of my friends now in the bi-lingual department. I hope that you continue to build relationships with each other and when you see student or teacher from another department you say “hi” to them.

我現(xiàn)在在臺(tái)上就能看見(jiàn)一位我在雙語(yǔ)部的好朋友，我希望大家可以繼續(xù)廣交朋友。并且在看到別一個(gè)學(xué)部的同學(xué)或老師時(shí)，熱情有禮的打聲招呼“HI,你好?！?/span>

The rest of this year is going to be filled with exciting activities tied to various themes each month.

這個(gè)學(xué)期每個(gè)月都將迎來(lái)不同的精彩的主題活動(dòng)!

For example, in March, we will be celebrating “Reading Festival” month and you will have an opportunity to learn about famous authors and hear some of your teacher’s favorite stories.

比如:三月:我們舉辦讀書(shū)月,大家會(huì)有機(jī)會(huì)認(rèn)識(shí)一些出色的作家, 閱讀一些優(yōu)秀的故事書(shū)。

* In April, we will be celebrating Sports Day&learning about sportsmanship.

4月:是運(yùn)動(dòng)月;我們會(huì)學(xué)習(xí)如何體現(xiàn)體育精神。

* In May, our focus will be on the Arts where there will be a variety of music performances.

5月:是我們的藝術(shù)之月; 會(huì)有許多的音樂(lè)和藝術(shù)表演,展示。

* In June, we will be having a science expedition where studentswill work together to create science projects related to Science, technology, engineering, arts and math. ·

6月:我們會(huì)有科技展;同學(xué)們會(huì)圍繞著科學(xué),技術(shù),工程,藝術(shù)和數(shù)學(xué)的主題發(fā)明,創(chuàng)造。

* Finally, in July, we will be wrapping up the term with end-of-term assessments before summer break and will be getting ready to kick-off our summer camp.

最后，在7月：將會(huì)有考核我們一個(gè)學(xué)期學(xué)習(xí)成果的期末考試以及夏令營(yíng)活動(dòng)。

As you can see, we have a lot of work to do this semester and it is important that we work together to be respectful and responsible so everyone can do their very best and finish out the school year on a successful note!

像你所聽(tīng)到的一樣，是的，我們這個(gè)學(xué)期會(huì)有許多的活動(dòng)!我認(rèn)為這些活動(dòng)中最重要其實(shí)是過(guò)程，我們學(xué)會(huì)互相尊重，對(duì)自己的學(xué)習(xí)負(fù)起責(zé)任。這樣每一位同學(xué)都能在這個(gè)學(xué)期成為最好的自己，這才是對(duì)自己交出最好的成績(jī)單!

I hope you all have a great week and remember to model what it means to be a good learner using our Character Education traits as a reminder!
