我以下面這篇例文說明如何寫流程圖。

The diagram below shows the process by which bricks are manufactured for the building industry.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Write at least 150 words.

任何一篇雅思小作文，都至少要包含以下三個(gè)方面的內(nèi)容：

What is the graph? (開頭段)

What are its most important features?(第二段)

What kind of significant details you can find? (第三段和第四段)

開頭段：What is the graph?

寫一句話即可，基本上都是改寫題干。具體針對(duì)流程圖，套路都是一樣的?？梢允褂萌缦戮湫停?/p>

The diagram shows the process of....

The diagram shows the various stages in...

因此，針對(duì)上面的例題，開頭寫作如下：

The diagram shows the various stages in the production of bricks used in building industry

第二段話：What are its most important features?

第二段話總結(jié)流程圖的主要特點(diǎn)。一般來說流程圖的特點(diǎn)主要體現(xiàn)在兩個(gè)方面：

步驟的數(shù)量。

整個(gè)流程起于哪一步，止于哪一步。(如果步驟只有4個(gè)以內(nèi)，或可以總結(jié)為4大步驟，可以選擇把所有的步驟總結(jié)列出來。

所使用的句型包含：

It is clear that there are four stages in the process, beginning with...to...

It is clear that three main stages are shown on the diagram.

在上面的例題中，步驟有7個(gè)，起于digging clay，止于delivering bricks。于是第二段話可以寫作如下：

It is clear that there are mainly seven steps involved in this process, beginning with the digging of clay to the delivery of bricks to construction sites.

第三段話和第四段話：What kind of significant details you can find?

這是整篇文章的主體部分。重點(diǎn)需要掌握以下要點(diǎn)：

1.選用哪些動(dòng)詞

流程圖是某個(gè)事物的運(yùn)行過程，每個(gè)步驟都會(huì)有一個(gè)動(dòng)作。因此動(dòng)詞的選擇至關(guān)重要。

幸運(yùn)的是，流程圖中大多數(shù)情況下都給了我們動(dòng)詞提示。

在上面的例題中，動(dòng)詞的提示如下：

digger - dig

roller - roll

wire cutter - cut

mould - mould

drying oven - dry

cooling chamber - cool

packaging - package

delivery - deliver

是不是一下子發(fā)現(xiàn)了好多動(dòng)詞。

2.主要使用被動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)還是主動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)?

如果流程是人工過程，主要使用被動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)。

如果流程是自然過程，主要使用主動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)。

3. 學(xué)會(huì)使用下列表示先后順序的詞匯

The first stage in the process is that…

The next step is to do sth…

The last step is ...

In the next (following, last) stage

initially / to begin with/firstly

next / later / then / subsequently

as soon as / until / following this / before / after / once

at the same time / simultaneously / during / while/ when

eventually / finally

4. 學(xué)會(huì)用when和where寫定語(yǔ)從句

The clay is put through a metal grid, and it passes onto a roller where it is mixed with sand and water.

5.學(xué)會(huì)將兩個(gè)甚至更多的步驟用一句話表達(dá)

The bricks are heated in a kiln at a moderate temperature (200 - 900 degrees Celsius) and then at a high temperature (up to 1300 degrees), before spending two to three days in a cooling chamber。(三個(gè)階段放在一句話了)

6.將所有步驟劃分，分兩段寫

我們將上述例題的前三個(gè)步驟寫在第三段，后面的四個(gè)步驟寫在第四段。

根據(jù)上面的要點(diǎn)，上述例題的第三段和第四段寫作如下：

It is clear that there are mainly seven steps involved in this process, beginning with the digging of clay to the delivery of bricks to construction sites

At the beginning of the process, clay is dug from the ground. The clay is put through a metal grid, and it passes onto a roller where it is mixed with sand and water. After that, the clay can be shaped into bricks in two ways: either it is put in a mould, or a wire cutter is used。

At the fourth stage in the process, the clay bricks are placed in a drying oven for one to two days. Next, the bricks are heated in a kiln at a moderate temperature (200 - 900 degrees Celsius) and then at a high temperature (up to 1300 degrees), before spending two to three days in a cooling chamber. Finally, the finished bricks are packaged and delivered.
