北京君誠雙語學(xué)?？駭?座獎杯43金29銀：君誠學(xué)子為何能在“世界學(xué)者杯”勇摘桂冠?

在2023年底結(jié)束的世界學(xué)者杯區(qū)域輪大連站和北京站的比賽中，君誠學(xué)子取得了歷史性的驕人戰(zhàn)績，共獲得7座獎杯43塊金牌29塊銀牌，所有隊(duì)伍全部晉級世界學(xué)者杯全球輪!

本次代表君誠參賽的10名“小學(xué)者”，有著非常共同的特征——所有人皆在君誠幼兒園/小學(xué)/中學(xué)連續(xù)就讀4至7年。得益于君誠學(xué)校十六年一貫制的學(xué)制，完備的國際課程體系，浸潤式外教包班的語言環(huán)境，以競賽促拔尖的培優(yōu)特色，幫助這些在君誠連續(xù)就讀的小學(xué)者們，在世界學(xué)者杯的舞臺上游刃有余、獨(dú)樹一幟、勇摘桂冠!

世界學(xué)者杯(WSC)源于美國耶魯大學(xué)，每年圍繞一個主題，通過探究式學(xué)習(xí)，展開對科學(xué)、社會學(xué)、歷史、藝術(shù)、文學(xué)、通識六大學(xué)科領(lǐng)域的深度競技。君誠學(xué)校的教育理念和實(shí)踐與世界學(xué)者杯這樣的跨學(xué)科學(xué)術(shù)盛宴不謀而合。君誠提供完備的主流國際課程體系：IB、A-Level、AP，為學(xué)生提供了一個廣闊的學(xué)術(shù)平臺，培養(yǎng)了他們的批判性思維，讓學(xué)生在面臨跨學(xué)科的挑戰(zhàn)時，能夠展現(xiàn)出全面的學(xué)術(shù)素養(yǎng)。

君誠學(xué)校不僅在世界學(xué)者杯中取得了優(yōu)異成績，還在其他眾多國際競賽中屢獲殊榮。無論是理工類的競賽，如美國AMC數(shù)學(xué)競賽、英國UKMT數(shù)學(xué)競賽、袋鼠數(shù)學(xué)挑戰(zhàn)、英國物理測評、英國天文學(xué)和天體物理測評等，還是經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)類的競賽，如阿思丹模擬商賽、美國NEC經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)挑戰(zhàn)賽等，亦或是藝術(shù)類的北歐音樂節(jié)、美國匹斯堡音樂節(jié)等，君誠學(xué)子們都展現(xiàn)出了卓越的實(shí)力和不俗的戰(zhàn)績。

Finishing a competition is a feeling like no other. It's a mix of relief, satisfaction, and excitement all rolled into one. The months or weeks of preparation, the intense moments of competition, and the adrenaline rush of giving it your, all come to an end in seconds. As you cross the finish line or hear the final buzzer, a wave of emotions washes over you. Whether you win or lose, there's a sense of accomplishment in knowing that you pushed yourself to the limit and gave it your best.

I attended this year’s WSC Dalian round with my fellow teammates Leo and Lawrence. I learned many new things in the debate, such as the benefits of AI. The scholar’s challenge was challenging. And finally, I learned the importance of my teammates and friends along the way.

This time, I learned that teamwork is essential. At first, I doubted my teammate’s debate skills and English level and thought they were not as good as me, but then I realized that everyone in the team was important. Each of us had a different target in the match and we had to trust each other to win.

這次世界學(xué)者杯，我覺得我的英語水平、知識面、以及和學(xué)習(xí)有關(guān)的各種知識都得到了提升。因?yàn)榈谝淮螀①?，我很緊張。不過隨著比賽的進(jìn)行，我放松了下來，我發(fā)現(xiàn)我們的對手也沒有我想象中的那么強(qiáng)，最終三場辯論我們都贏了。所以，我總結(jié)出了一個道理：人一定要對自己有信心!

My favorite part is the opening ceremony. The speaker told a story about his mate who lost his bike and sang a song called Nothing Could Go Wrong, which is ridiculous. The next part was writing, and I learned multiple things, such as teamwork, which is especially important.

I learned to be brave at talking and express my points in a strong way at debating. Also, I learned that write down the content that you just think at once, and you need to review teammates’ work properly and very carefully.

The first thing that I have learned is to know where to go by not asking adults. I looked at a map and figured out where to go for lunch. The Second thing is hand gestures and mindmaps. In my 2nd debate, I looked at the other team's paper. On it, there was a mindmap. In my 1st debate, I looked at my teammates, they were all doing hand gestures. So, in my 3rd debate, I did the two things and beat the other team that we were facing.

I think the WSC was so great. We can meet some new friends, we can compete with people from all over the world, can learn new things and get trophies and medals, even can get plush Alpaca!

這是我第一次正式參加辯論。在整個過程中，我學(xué)會了尊重對手，學(xué)會了如何在賽前和賽中查找資料、梳理資料，針對辯論發(fā)展過程來擴(kuò)充素材，怎樣更好的臨場發(fā)揮，做好這些環(huán)節(jié)團(tuán)隊(duì)辯論才能做到更好。我在才藝秀上看到了很多同學(xué)展示了不同的才藝，充分表現(xiàn)自己，讓我想起了我們學(xué)校最近PYP探究課單元的主題“How we express ourselves”。

2024年春季，世界學(xué)者杯第二輪區(qū)域賽將繼續(xù)展開;2024年暑假，世界學(xué)者杯全球輪將在大連、吉隆坡、奧克蘭、首爾、曼谷陸續(xù)進(jìn)行;2024年11月，世界學(xué)者杯耶魯冠軍輪將在美國耶魯大學(xué)再次上演。
