未來(lái)計(jì)劃希望有更多機(jī)會(huì)是由孩子們自己來(lái)主導(dǎo)這些集會(huì)活動(dòng)。給孩子們提供一個(gè)主題,高年級(jí)的學(xué)生負(fù)責(zé)策劃,同時(shí)調(diào)動(dòng)低年級(jí)的學(xué)生一起來(lái)執(zhí)行,圍繞這個(gè)主題來(lái)呈現(xiàn)學(xué)校學(xué)生的階段性學(xué)習(xí)情況,充分發(fā)揮學(xué)生的主觀能動(dòng)性。

反思的能量是巨大的,它不僅能審視過(guò)去,還能更好地幫助你展望未來(lái),這個(gè)能力要從小培養(yǎng),小學(xué)就是最主要的階段。
Why are there some children who study very hard but the results are frustrating?
They show strong initiative in their studies, but they tend to ignore a fact: reflection. The power of refection is mighty. It not only allows you to learn from the past, but gives you the insight to the future. This is an ability that should be developed from childhood, and elementary education is the most important stage.
每周五下午3:20,斐特思小學(xué)部都會(huì)按時(shí)開展周會(huì)(weekly assembly),這是孩子們每周最期待的時(shí)間,老師們會(huì)帶領(lǐng)他們回顧這一周的得與失,孩子們還有機(jī)會(huì)上臺(tái)來(lái)展示自己的才華,分享學(xué)習(xí)成果。
Fettes' Elementary Department will hold a weekly assembly at 3:20 pm on Fridays. That is the most expected moment for the children in the week. At the assembly, the teachers will ask them to reflect over what they have gained and lost in that week, and the children have the opportunity to show their talents on the stage and share their learning results.
每周的周會(huì)都會(huì)有不同的主題。今天的主題是學(xué)院制 HOUSE ,讓孩子們對(duì)學(xué)院制度有更充分的理解和認(rèn)同感。在主題集會(huì)中,滲透德智教育、倡導(dǎo)正確的三觀,是 weekly assembly 的主要目的之一。
The assembly has a different theme every week. Today, the theme is about the HOUSE system, so that the children could have better understand and recognize the system. One of the main purposes of weekly assembly is to implant moral and intellectual education and spread the correct ideology.
每周的周會(huì)都會(huì)有不同的主題,且都有一個(gè)固定的環(huán)節(jié)--榮譽(yù)證書的發(fā)放。我們有“勤勞的小蜜蜂、愛創(chuàng)造的獨(dú)角獸、愛協(xié)作的螞蟻、愛嘗試的烏龜和愛思考的貓頭鷹”五個(gè)獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng),五個(gè)動(dòng)物代表 IB 的十大學(xué)習(xí)者素養(yǎng)。頒發(fā)給與此精神相匹配的孩子們,以此激勵(lì)并幫助孩子們“反思”自己的優(yōu)勢(shì),發(fā)掘及強(qiáng)化。
The issuance of honor certificates is a fixed part featuring the weekly assembly. There are five awards: "hardworking bee, creative unicorn, collaborative ant, venturesome tortoise, and reflective owl". The five animals signify the 10 qualities required for learners of IB. Honors are awarded to children who match this spirit, in order to inspire and help them to "reflect on”, explore and strengthen their own advantages.

在 FCG , 我們也同樣重視音樂(lè)、體育、美術(shù)等非主科學(xué)科的學(xué)習(xí)。其學(xué)習(xí)成果也會(huì)通過(guò)周五的集會(huì)來(lái)共同慶祝。這不僅提供給孩子們一個(gè)展示自己的舞臺(tái),還能鍛煉孩子們的膽量、自信心和表達(dá)力。
At FCG, we attach equal importance to the study of non-major subjects, like music, sports, and fine arts, and the learning achievements are also celebrated at the assembly on Friday. This not only provides children with a stage to show themselves, but also to foster their courage, self-confidence and expression.
參與公共集會(huì)也會(huì)訓(xùn)練孩子們的禮儀規(guī)范,孩子們要學(xué)習(xí)不僅僅可以為自己慶祝成功,也要學(xué)習(xí)如何為他人慶祝成功。
From their participation in the assembly, children will learn that they gather together not only to celebrate their own success, but to celebrate the success of others. Also, this is an occasion to develop their public etiquette.
