清瀾山學(xué)校國旗下演講 | G9-3：童子軍和體育日 Scout Camp & PE Day

清瀾山到目前為止已經(jīng)組織過了3次童子軍活動(dòng)，最令我印象深刻的是在去年在南昆山上的滑索項(xiàng)目。我們需要系上安全繩，從一條小河的岸邊滑到對岸，再抓著繩索爬回來。

尊敬的各位老師，親愛的同學(xué)們，大家早上好!

Good morning dear teachers and students!

我是來自九年級三班的胡錦峰，I’m Jerry from grade 9 class 3.

我是來自九年級三班的洪舒晗，I’m Susy from grade 9 class 3.

大家認(rèn)為生活中最重要的品質(zhì)是什么?看來大家都有不同的觀點(diǎn)。我認(rèn)為，一個(gè)人需要具備的最重要的品質(zhì)是：勇氣。

What do you think is the most important quality of life? I believe it’s courage.

生活中很多事情都需要勇氣：小到跟同學(xué)之間的一次交流，大到像我們這樣站在臺(tái)上做演講，都是需要勇氣的事情。

A lot of things in life take courage. From a conversation with a friend, to giving a speech onstage, they all need courage.

最近，我們就要參加一個(gè)很需要勇氣的活動(dòng)：想必大家都猜到是什么了吧?沒錯(cuò)，就是童子軍。

Recently, we will be joining Scout Camp which needs a lot of courage.

清瀾山到目前為止已經(jīng)組織過了3次童子軍活動(dòng)，最令我印象深刻的是在去年在南昆山上的滑索項(xiàng)目。我們需要系上安全繩，從一條小河的岸邊滑到對岸，再抓著繩索爬回來。這是一項(xiàng)非常需要勇氣的挑戰(zhàn)。在你往下跳的那一刻，你是最勇敢的那一個(gè)。

We’ve held Scout Camp three times in the past. What impressed me the most is zip lining. We need to slip from the bank of the river to the other side with a safety rope, and then crawl back with the rope. Zip lining is a challenge that needs a lot of courage. At the moment you jump down, you are the most courageous one!

這一次我們初高中部要前往深圳的海島上進(jìn)行六公里東西涌穿越和野外求生挑戰(zhàn)。這將會(huì)是充滿磨練和困難的一次經(jīng)歷

This time, middle and upper school’s students are going to an island in Shenzhen. We will hike 6 km through a mountain, and learn how to survive in the wild. It will be a challenging experience, and we will be facing many difficulties.

沒有現(xiàn)成的飯菜，沒有能直接喝的淡水，沒有一直細(xì)心照顧我們的父母在身邊，平時(shí)唾手可得的一切都變得很珍貴。

There will not be prepared food for you to eat, and there will not be purified water for you to drink, and your parents will not be there for you.

那我們要怎么在這樣子一個(gè)“荒島”上面“生存”下來呢?沒有現(xiàn)成的飯菜，沒有能直接喝的淡水，沒有一直細(xì)心照顧我們的父母在身邊，平時(shí)唾手可得的一切都變得很珍貴。

But what will we have? Without prepared food, we will have the ability to cook for ourselves; without purified water, we can get the skill to purify sea water for ourselves; without our parent’s care, we will learn how to take care of ourselves.

最后，我們想給大家一個(gè)小小的任務(wù)：請各位參加過童子軍的同學(xué)給沒有參加過的同學(xué)講述一件你認(rèn)為在童子軍活動(dòng)中你或者別人做過的最有勇氣的一件事情。

Finally, we want all students who have participated the Scout Camp to describe the most courageous thing you or other people did during the Scout Camp to those who haven’t joined the Scout camp before.
