眾所周知，清瀾山學(xué)校作為美國(guó)大學(xué)理事會(huì)會(huì)員學(xué)校，借此平臺(tái)，學(xué)校與全球6000多所學(xué)校結(jié)成伙伴關(guān)系，協(xié)同發(fā)展，并參加該機(jī)構(gòu)為教育工作者舉辦的各類培訓(xùn)和研討，包括AP課程發(fā)展和指導(dǎo)、大學(xué)申請(qǐng)等主題。

2020年7月，清瀾山學(xué)校將獲得劍橋大學(xué)國(guó)際考評(píng)部的A-Level教學(xué)資質(zhì)，并正在申請(qǐng)英國(guó)大學(xué)聯(lián)合招生委員會(huì)(UCAS)的注冊(cè)會(huì)員，畢業(yè)生在校完成海外大學(xué)申請(qǐng)，既可申請(qǐng)英國(guó)的大學(xué)，也可申請(qǐng)美國(guó)、加拿大、澳大利亞、歐盟、中國(guó)香港等160多個(gè)國(guó)家和地區(qū)的正規(guī)大學(xué)。

In July 2020, Tsinglan School will obtain A-level teaching qualification from the International Assessment Department of Cambridge University. The school is now also applying for the registration to be a member of The Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS) which is a UK-based organisation whose main role is to operate the application process for British universities. Tsinglan graduates can apply to universities not only in the UK but also in more than 160 countries and regions such as the United States, Canada, Australia, the European Union and Hong Kong, China.

2021-2022學(xué)年開(kāi)始，清瀾山學(xué)校將為10年級(jí)以上的學(xué)生提供IGCSE和A-Level課程。學(xué)生可以根據(jù)自身情況與升學(xué)導(dǎo)師的建議選擇A-Level或者AP課程，屆時(shí)憑借A-Level或AP的成績(jī)申請(qǐng)國(guó)外大學(xué)。

From the 2021-2022 school year, Tsinglan will provide the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) and A-level courses for students at Upper School from Grade 11 and upwards. Students can choose A-level or AP courses according to their own situation and suggestions from their college councilor. With A-level or AP scores, students can apply for universities abroad in due course.

A-Level (General Certificate of Education Advanced Level)即英國(guó)高中課程，是英國(guó)全民課程體系，是英國(guó)普通中等教育證書(shū)考試高級(jí)水平課程，也是英國(guó)學(xué)生的大學(xué)入學(xué)考試課程。A-Level課程證書(shū)被幾乎所有英語(yǔ)授課的大學(xué)作為招收新生的入學(xué)標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。

A-level which is the common name of the General Certificate of Education Advanced Level, is a UK high school curriculum, which is the UK national curriculum system. It is the advanced level course of GCE (General Certificate of Education) and the university entrance examination course for British students. The A-level certificates are used as the standard for assessing the suitability of applicants for admission by almost all English speaking universities.

全世界有160多個(gè)國(guó)家和地區(qū)的學(xué)校認(rèn)可A-Level課程體系，有大約11000所學(xué)校承認(rèn)該課程的合格證書(shū)。學(xué)生可憑借A-Level成績(jī)申請(qǐng)英國(guó)、加拿大、澳大利亞、新西蘭、新加坡、香港、美國(guó)等多個(gè)國(guó)家和地區(qū)的大學(xué)。

The A-Level curriculum systems are recognized by about 160 schools worldwide and A-Level certificates are accredited by more than 11,000 schools globally. With A-level scores, students can apply to universities in various countries/regions, such as the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong and the United States.

A-Level課程包含70多個(gè)科目、內(nèi)容涵蓋藝術(shù)、文學(xué)、語(yǔ)言學(xué)、理學(xué)、商學(xué)等領(lǐng)域，而通常學(xué)生只需要選擇其中3-4門(mén)來(lái)學(xué)習(xí)即可?；诖蠖鄶?shù)中國(guó)學(xué)生的水平能力以及大多數(shù)專業(yè)的招生要求，A-Level在中國(guó)一般開(kāi)設(shè)數(shù)學(xué)、進(jìn)階數(shù)學(xué)(或稱高等數(shù)學(xué))、物理、計(jì)算機(jī)學(xué)、會(huì)計(jì)學(xué)、商業(yè)學(xué)、經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)等課程，這些也是清瀾山即將為清瀾學(xué)子提供的課程。

A-level courses consist of more than 70 subjects, covering Art, literature, linguistics, science, business and other fields. Generally speaking, students only need to choose 3-4 of them to study. Based on the level and ability of most Chinese students and the enrollment requirements of most major subjects, A-level usually offers Mathematics, Advanced Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Accounting, Business, Economics and other courses in China. These are also the courses that Tsinglan will provide for students.

A-Level考試屬于單元考試，每次考試一般只考一個(gè)單元的內(nèi)容，各單元的平均成績(jī)就是這門(mén)課的總成績(jī)。同時(shí)，A-Level并非一考定終身，允許學(xué)生多次參加考試，申請(qǐng)大學(xué)時(shí)以較好的成績(jī)?yōu)闇?zhǔn)。

A-level examination performs unit examination. Generally, only one unit is tested in each examination. The average score of each unit is the total score of this course. At the same time, A-level is not a one-time test for life. Students are allowed to take the exam many times. When applying for A-level, the better score will prevail.

該課程相關(guān)的教學(xué)大綱、課程設(shè)置及考試，是由英國(guó)四個(gè)主要考試局設(shè)計(jì)并組織，而清瀾山學(xué)校將會(huì)參加的是由劍橋考試局Cambridge International Examinations(CIE)組織的考試，CIE的考試安排在每年5月/6月和10月。

The syllabus, curriculum and examinations related to the course are designed and organized by four major examination authorities in the UK. Tsinglan school will take the examinations organized by Cambridge International Examinations (CIE), which is arranged in May/June and November every year.

A-Level課程的各科考試成績(jī)分A、B、C、D、E、U六個(gè)等級(jí)，及格等級(jí)E相當(dāng)于百分制的40分，具體換算標(biāo)準(zhǔn)如下:

The examination results of A-level course are divided into six grades: A, B, C, D, E and U. The passing grade E is equivalent to 40 points of the 100-point system. The specific conversion criteria are as follows:

通常成績(jī)達(dá)到D級(jí)就可以申請(qǐng)英國(guó)或其他國(guó)外大學(xué)，但英國(guó)及世界較好的大學(xué)一般要求學(xué)生3門(mén)課的成績(jī)均應(yīng)達(dá)到C以上。

Generally, students can apply to British or other foreign universities if their scores reach grade D. However, the best universities in the UK and the world will require students to achieve C or above in three courses.

而對(duì)于世界一流大學(xué)，如牛津、劍橋大學(xué)等名校，則要求申請(qǐng)學(xué)生3門(mén)課的成績(jī)達(dá)到3個(gè)A，并且要求其中的兩門(mén)課要達(dá)到A*。

For the world-class universities, such as Oxford, Cambridge University and other famous universities, students are required to achieve three A's in three courses, and two of them are required to achieve A*.
