柏朗思觀瀾湖學(xué)校萌娃駕到，同學(xué)何在? Hopes for the Future

幼兒教育是學(xué)習(xí)旅程的基石，是校園生活美好的起點(diǎn)。

I feel so blessed to have the chance to place my daughter, Ada May, in BMH K1 this August, for the beginning of her school learning journey. As my background is in developmental psychology and early childhood education, it was my honour to be the founding BMH Pre School Principal back in 2015 and to have the chance to build a Kindergarten environment that incorporates the very best of early learning. Play, Language (not one but two!), Inquiry and Curiosity, Social Development and Relationships, Confidence and Independence, Kindness and Respect - these are approaches and values that I hold close to my heart. The opportunity to send my daughter to this environment, which we have built together with so much love, fills me with joy.

作為幼兒園及小學(xué)低段的校長(zhǎng)，我的女兒Ada May Packman將在今年八月正式入讀柏朗思觀瀾湖學(xué)校幼兒園，正式開(kāi)啟她的校園學(xué)習(xí)生活。我早期的教育工作經(jīng)驗(yàn)主要集中在兒童發(fā)展心理學(xué)及幼兒教育領(lǐng)域，自2015年擔(dān)任柏朗思觀瀾湖學(xué)校幼兒園創(chuàng)校校長(zhǎng)至今，我?guī)ьI(lǐng)的教學(xué)團(tuán)隊(duì)不懈努力，致力于打造一個(gè)融合各類(lèi)優(yōu)秀教學(xué)理念和實(shí)踐的學(xué)習(xí)環(huán)境?；?dòng)游戲、語(yǔ)言發(fā)展(雙語(yǔ))、重視探究、保護(hù)幼兒探索欲、重視幼兒的社交和人際能力發(fā)展、培養(yǎng)孩子自信和獨(dú)立、友善、尊重的品格，這都是我最珍視和看重的品質(zhì)和價(jià)值觀。我和老師們傾注了所有的愛(ài)和努力打造出這個(gè)宜教宜樂(lè)的幼兒園，想想我的女兒也將受益于此，實(shí)在是令人喜悅。

What is more - I know she is going to love it! She is talking more and more about going to school, what her teachers might be like, what she might do. It is a place full of possibilities and excitement and I am full of anticipation for her to immerse herself in all that it will bring.

更為重要的是，我知道她一定會(huì)深深地愛(ài)上這里?，F(xiàn)在她每天都喋喋不休地跟我描述她想象中的校園生活，她會(huì)遇上怎樣的老師，她會(huì)在學(xué)校玩些什么。這里將是她實(shí)現(xiàn)無(wú)數(shù)可能性的起點(diǎn)，她將像我一樣熱愛(ài)這所學(xué)校并享受在這里學(xué)習(xí)和成長(zhǎng)的每一天。

Pre School education is about laying positive foundations for the rest of your learning journey - which is not just about school, but about your whole life. Happy, resilient, motivated and compassionate little people is what we are all about at BMH Pre School and that is what I want for my daughter.

幼兒教育是學(xué)習(xí)旅程的基石，是校園生活美好的起點(diǎn)。幼教絕不是學(xué)習(xí)知識(shí)那么簡(jiǎn)單，教育融入在無(wú)時(shí)不刻的生活中。培養(yǎng)一個(gè)懂得幸福、明白堅(jiān)韌、自我激勵(lì)且有同理心的孩子是柏朗思觀瀾湖學(xué)校幼兒園一直以來(lái)的教育目標(biāo)，這也是我對(duì)Ada本人成長(zhǎng)的希冀和期盼。
