2019 深圳（南山）中加學(xué)校夏校報(bào)道第二期：英屬哥倫比亞大學(xué)

北京時(shí)間6月30日上午10點(diǎn)50分，深圳（南山）中加學(xué)校22位參加加拿大英屬哥倫比亞大學(xué)夏校（未來(lái)全球領(lǐng)導(dǎo)者項(xiàng)目）的學(xué)生，滿懷期待地來(lái)到了蛇口郵輪中心，準(zhǔn)備啟程。

英屬哥倫比亞大學(xué)夏校是我們中加學(xué)生難得的提前體驗(yàn)大學(xué)生活，提升知識(shí)水平的暑期課程。22名學(xué)生將在加拿大溫哥華英屬哥倫比亞大學(xué)的校園內(nèi)度過(guò)4周充滿驚喜與挑戰(zhàn)的夏校生活。

在蛇口郵輪中心辦好了行李托運(yùn)手續(xù)后，于1點(diǎn)30分乘船前往香港機(jī)場(chǎng)，順利經(jīng)過(guò)安檢，于4點(diǎn)左右登機(jī)出發(fā)。在精選電影與美味配餐的陪伴下，孩子們?cè)陲w機(jī)上渡過(guò)了漫長(zhǎng)卻不枯燥的12個(gè)小時(shí)。

University of British Columbia Summer School is a rare summer activity forour students to experience university life in advanceand improve their knowledge level. Twenty-two students will spend four weeks on the campus of University ofBritish Columbia in Vancouver, Canada, in a summer school filled with surprises and challenges.

After completing thecheck-in procedure at Shekou Cruise Center, we took a ferry to Hong Kong International Airport at 1:30 p.m., passed the security check quickly, and boarded at about 4 o'clock. Accompanied by selected movies and delicious meals, the students spent a long but not boring 12 hours on the plane.

當(dāng)我們抵達(dá)溫哥華時(shí)，已經(jīng)是當(dāng)?shù)氐南挛?點(diǎn)。

When we arrived Vancouver, it was already 5 p.m. in local time.

等候已久的英屬哥倫比亞大學(xué)夏校接待人員將我們帶到了英屬哥倫比亞大學(xué)的校園。在進(jìn)行登記之后，學(xué)生分別前往各自的宿舍。這里設(shè)施完善，食堂也擁有足量的自助餐供應(yīng)。

The monitor of UBC summer schooltook us to the campus. After registration, students went to their respective dormitories. The facilities here are perfect, and the canteen also has a sufficient supply of buffets.

在休息了一晚上之后，夏校的第一天開(kāi)始了。7點(diǎn)過(guò)后，英屬哥倫比亞大學(xué)的老師召開(kāi)了第一次會(huì)議，這次會(huì)議在餐廳前的大草地召開(kāi)，同學(xué)們跟從指令有序地坐成一圈，安靜認(rèn)真地聽(tīng)著老師對(duì)自己以及校園的介紹，在這以后，大家還一起玩了破冰游戲，氛圍其樂(lè)融融。

Next morning, the first day of summer school began. At 7:00 a.m., UBC teachers held their first meeting. The meeting was held on the grass in front of the restaurant. The students sat in a circle,listened carefully to the teacher introduced themselves and the campus. After that, they also played ice-breaking games together in a harmonious atmosphere.

英屬哥倫比亞大學(xué)夏校的日程安排合理而緊湊，早晨7點(diǎn)被負(fù)責(zé)老師喚醒后，同一樓層的同學(xué)一起召開(kāi)了一個(gè)交代本日新日程的小會(huì)議，8點(diǎn)至8點(diǎn)30分我們享受了傳統(tǒng)的西式早餐，在這之后，今天的課程就開(kāi)始了。

The Summer School of the University of British Columbia has a reasonable schedule. After being woken up at 7 a.m. by the monitor, the students on the same floor held a small meeting to learn the new schedule. From 8 a.m. to 8:30 a.m., we enjoyed the traditional Canadian breakfast. After that, today's courses began.

8點(diǎn)40分左右，學(xué)生由各自的帶隊(duì)老師帶到教學(xué)區(qū)，大學(xué)教授的教學(xué)方式與同班國(guó)際同學(xué)的思維使他們耳目一新?！皝?lái)英屬哥倫比亞大學(xué)的目的主要還是體驗(yàn)大學(xué)生活與國(guó)際環(huán)境”，在這里，學(xué)生與外國(guó)友人融洽交流，認(rèn)識(shí)了他們不同的觀念與思維方式，收益匪淺。

Around 8:40 a.m., students went to the classroom. The teaching style of professors and the thinking ways of the students from different countries were unique and creative.“The main purpose of coming to the University of British Columbia is to experience university life and the international environment.” At here, students communicated harmoniously with their foreign friends and get to know their different concepts and ways of thinking.

12點(diǎn)左右我們享用了午餐，在短暫的休息后，學(xué)生集合注冊(cè)了這一周晚上參與的項(xiàng)目，之后便開(kāi)始了神奇的英屬哥倫比亞大學(xué)校園觀光之旅。

We enjoyed lunch around 12 o'clock. After a short break, the students were gathered to register the evening courses, and then began a wonderful UBC campus tour.
